Heat sealing press for heat sealable plastic containers has a vacuum distributor group formed by 'm' separate chambers with different degrees of vacuum, to each of which a vacuum pump is connected, and a number 'n' of vertical, completely independent heat sealing units. Each heat sealing unit has a device for ejecting the containers from the unit, sealing device, and controllers for the vacuum reached in each unit. Pipes (I) connect each of the 'm' chambers with the heat sealing units. A time switch controls the successive rotation of the frames with the heat sealing units at predefined time intervals, the value of each single rotation of the frames being equal to 360 degrees/n. A programming device is provided for effecting a complete sealing cycle by automatically activating the device for introducing the containers at predefined moments in the heat sealing units, and locking devices are provided for opening and closing the pipes (I). The machine has a device for introducing air into the heat sealing unit, a device for continuously connecting the heat sealing press to a flow supply station, an air pressure distributor connected by means of a pressure reducer to a compressed air supply for feeding the container ejection device, and the sealing device, and a contact for effecting the complete sealing cycle. This design guarantees the desired vacuum in each of the plastic containers and affords considerable production flexibility. |
