Combine harvester with cutter plate - height adjustable by means of control valve and feeler with hydraulic piston-cylinder units

The control valve has three sections which can be moved or turned, in relation to each other. One part is connected to the chassis, one part to the feelers, and the third part to the movable intake channel or to the cutter plate fixed to it. The control valve consists of a duct in a casing with inner wall, and of two pistons moving inside it, one at least of which is hollow, and encloses the other in its cavity. The housing of the control valve is fixed to the chassis. The connection between the parts of the control valve and the feelers, and the connection between the intake duct and the cutter plate or chassis is by means of Bowden wires and/or mechanical levers incorporating devices for altering length.
