<p>The wheel has a hub section (12) consisting of a cylindrical bush (14) to receive the axle and roller bearings. Provision for a drive sprocket is made and a brake drum is included (22). The hub has a number of projections (24) on one side at its periphery each with a bore, which corresponds with a bore (34) in the rim section which fits over the hub. Spokes (36) extend in 'V' formation away from the bores towards the outer rim (41). A lubrication connection with a high degree of heat conductivity is provided between the hub and the rim section to conduct the heat generated by the brake drum to the spokes and rim.</p> |
