<p>Up and over garage door opening under spring assistance, is designed for simplicity and ease of installation and maintenance, and features a minimum of moving parts with a sealed door fitting and spring assistance diminishing with travel. The lever system each side of the door has a lever arm (6) and two hinge ended arms (7, 9) which together with the spring (4) connect between the frame post (1) and the door (2). A frame mounted plate (5) supports the fixed hinges, one (7) of the arms connects between the lever (6) axis and a door bracket (8), and the other arm (9) between the plate (5) and a secondary bracket (11). The spring (4) ties between the frame (1) and the lever arm (6) via an upper hook (12) and lower adjusting screw (15) or alternatively the springs can connect between levers and frame bases.</p> |
