<p>The slatted or venetian shutter, is designed for privacy in that it allows the passage of air but not of direct light, and embodies a steel frame with sheet steel slats. The slats are folded into diverse alternative sectional shapes (a) 'Z' sections with the web composed of an inclined length between two equal vertical lengths, (b) plain 'Z' sections and the sections being welded into position inclined and overlapping to form baffles. Pref. slat sections have five legs and four folds, alternatively corregated panels can be used with air drillings and these panels can be used folded either horizontally or vertically.</p> |
