Probe-safe cylinder lock - has tumble pins without guide channels, laterally penetrating cylinder

The design concerns a cylinder lock with a tumbler pin arrangement which resists attempts of picking by probing procedure. The tumbler pins do not slide in a separate channel provided in the cylinder body, but are lined up next to each other. The composite-type key, which consists of a servo-part (6) with chamfered end and straight edge. This part carries in a sliding arrangement the proper operating key (5) with square-profiled parts. For opening the lock, both keys are inserted into the lock slit, the straight edge of the servo key lifting up all tumbler pins (4) to the same level. The servo key is withdrawn and the individual pins drop into the low section of the parts resulting in the correct opening combination.
