Single hand operated picking up shovel - operates with scraping action and has spring loaded covering flap

The manually operated scraping shovel is used for picking up of small components for example dog droppings on the ground. Owing to the pulling movement this tool can be used only with one hand. The shovel blade is held on a support bracket on the end of a tubular handle rod. A spring loaded closing flap is also pivoted on the supporting bracket. The flap is held in an open rest position by the spring and it is moved by a connecting string which is held by the pivoted lever at the handle end. Liquids can also be scooped up if suitable seals are provided in the hinge flap.
