The electrical connector consists of two interchangeable halves that contain the interconnecting components of the connector. Each half has guide flaps along its sides that engage the outside of the other connector half. The flaps extend over half the side face of each connector so that when the connector halves are joined, smooth unstepped side faces are formed. Each connector has a slotted hole with a tapering entrance on one large face and a suitably shaped projection on the other large face. The projection of one connector engages in the slotted hole of the other connector. |
