A film holder for a narrow gauge film splicing press having a film holder plate which can pivot in the working plane of the press having at least one perforation pin to hold the film in a predetermined position and a hinged plate which can be swung against the holder plate to steady the film section held by the perforation pin, has the holder plate (1) constructed with a film guide path (4) to which at least one perforation pin (9) and film ejection spring (7) are attached. The hinged plate (2) has a movable film splicing device attached to it.
