<p>An electronic flash device for a camera having a high voltage source to charge up a discharge tube of repeated useability, has an adapter (16) to connect the camera (10) to the flash gun (15). A battery (17) is mounted inside the camera (10) and produces an electronic impulse (18) when the camera is operated. The impulse (18) is generated by an electronic circuit. The adapter (16) has a thyristor (19) lying in the circuit connected to the high voltage source (21) of the electronic flashgun (15). The impulse (18) generated by the circuit and the battery (17) in the camera (10) is fed to the control attachment of the thyristor (29).</p> |
