<p>The automatically locking inter-hinging blade mechanical shutter, has blades (1, 2) inter-retracting partially at shutter closure and locking against inter-blade displacement or rotations. Cellular blades (1, 2) interconnect via an interfitting of curved returned wall ends (4, 6) and there are locking blocks (7) which locate at longitudinal intervals within female blade edges (4): the distribution and design of blocks improving on prior art. Opposed blades edges constitutes an open or remale end (4) with wall ends returning inwardly to form semi-circular grooves and a closed or male end (6) with walls uniting and terminating in external returned semi-circular hookes: the latter locating in the former grooves to make inter-blade connections.</p> |
