<p>The Parent Patent describes a device for supplying liq. to the human body or animals, in which the flow from a storage vessel via an electrically driven pump and infusion line is regulated by an electrical programmer with manual presetting. This programmer pref. comprises a number of inputs for different signals, a control signal output and a time switching device which is preset to connect the output to various inputs at different times, for example to provide varying feed rates for insulin to a patient at meal times, night time and so on. In the Patent of Addition, the time switching device consists of several analog multiplexers which can be connected in succession to a timer and which have their outputs connected to the common control signal output. The multiplexers are pred. switched forward by a reducer stage.</p> |
