<p>The equipment has a massage pad performing a circular movement. Means are provided in the pad to apply an electric current to the skin of the patient. These means can comprise four terminals mounted in a cruciform pattern near the pad surface, to apply differential currents, or a coiled conductor for galvanic current. The pad driving motor can be connected to it by a flexible shaft, and can rest on a support so as to slew about a vertical axis. The support can consist of a housing accommodating all the electrical circuits, and to which the mains supply is connected.</p> |
