The elastomer or plastomer connector has a cubic central body, one cylindrical extension (5) having exterior ridges for the location of a fluid pipe and a second cylindrical extension having annular external ridges (6) for location in the body of a second component. The bore (7) in the second component is less in diameter than the ridges and has a chamfered lead-in. the extensions have interconnecting cylindrical bores (4). As an alternative the convector can have multiple fluid pipe connection extensions. The extensions allow the parts being connected to be rotated for correct alignment.
