<p>This chassis supports traction and shock absorbing elements, especially middle buffer couplings and carries the superstructure of the wagon as a unit on the chassis with an enclosing frame. The superstructure is held longitudinally by sliding members and against separation by lifting on the chassis. The chassis adapts itself to irregularities in the track and its torsional flexibility is not affected by the superstructure. The whole superstructure has an enclosing lower frame (3) which is placed on the chassis. Sliding connections (7) guide side walls longitudinally and vertically. Bolts are used for locking against lifting.</p> |
