<p>The template has supporting beads running along the sides and protruding from the two faces. The quantity of plastic material in the half furthest from the point of injection or the runner is less than in the other half. The bead furthest from the runner can be narrower than the one closest to it, and the thickness of the template in the further half can be less than that in the closer half. It can decrease steadily from the runner. On the smaller of the two beads there can be protrusions extending inwards, so as to increase the width to a value equal to that of the larger bead.</p> |
