<p>The cage can be easily taken to pieces and is intended for small animals and birds. It consists of M-section extrusions (1) whose upper legs curve over and outwards on to the lower legs, forming grooves extending the length of the extrusions. The angle formed between lower legs is approximately 90 deg. but this can be varied if desired by using a semi-rigid plastic material for the extrusion. Two adjacent panels consisting of grilles (7, 8) with rods (9, 10) at each end are assembled by sliding the rods into the grooves (4) of an extrusion. In this manner several variations in cage shape may be obtained.</p> |
