<p>Container for nuclear fusion fuel constructed as a laminate with an inner shell of gas-permeable material esp. carbon with a nuclear charge number of 2-10, a pref. thickness of 0.3-1.5 mu and a coating of gas-permeable material forming an outer shell with a nuclear charge number of 10-103 pref. a metallic thickness 100-1000nm. Provides a fusion fuel pellet with good mechanical strength, easy to store and to handle, with a low mean nuclear charge number, high thermal conductivity and high external surface reflectivity compared to glass. Absorption of incident energy of wavelength 10-50 mu is reduced.</p> |
