<p>A mechanism particularly for bending upwards and the lengthwise edges of continuously moving paper sheets, either individually or stacked, has a driven rotary curving device (6) running in the direction of travel of the sheets (2). The device can be in the form of curving rings (8) fixed to a rotary shaft (7), and of roof-type contour. Provision can be made for sliding the rings along the shaft, to which they can be secured by leaf springs acting in the radial direction. The desin is cheap to produce and long-lasting, being easily adaptable to different sizes of sheet.</p> |
