<p>A thermically controlled exhaust gas valve or damper for use with gas fire installations having a bimetallic section of circular sector design. The bimetallic sectors (3, 4) are fastened together in the region of the circle mid point by means of a mounting (2) attached solidly to the chimney or stovepipe wall. The bimetallic sectors (3, 4) are so designed that they open on opposite sides and are formed from a single piece of sheet material. At leat two bimetallic sectors (3, 4) are mounted to each munting (2).</p> |
