<p>Pharmaceutical compositions contain as active substance >=1 cpd. of formula (I): (where R is H or 1-5C alkoxy; and R1 and R2 are H or 1-5C alkyl), e.g. 3-(4-piperidyl)-indole or 5-methoxy-3-(4-piperidyl)-indole, and/or >=1 acid addition salt. (I) have antidepressant and antiemetic properties as well as anti-Parkinson activity. They can be used for the treatment of psychic, behavioral and character disorders and in the treatment of akinetic states. Daily dosage for humans is e.g. 5-500 mg per day. p.o.</p> |
