<p>The flange clamping device is used for pipe and hose connections and it has two flange halves which are pushed into position laterally. The device is designed for use with all pressure ranges as a standard coupling device and it has characteristics of an integral flange. Both flange halves (30, 31) are provided with locking features on the flange splitting surface. The composite flange plate has a central bore, through which is fitted an axial longitudinal hollow profile (42). The separating and splitting surface (15) can be eccentric and a tongue and groove type connection is made. This connection can also be made alternatively by fitting a pin between the interfaces of the split flange halves.</p> |
