The cycle is set in motion by conventional chain wheel and pedals and then kept in motion by the rider extending the steering bar and pressing downwards to push the seat into a higher and backwards position. The steering bar is linked by a cross member to the front point of the seat shile the lower seat part is linked to an endless chain running over two chain wheels. The lower chain wheel is in constant mesh with the pedaled chain wheel revolves on a vertical rear wheel support. Two spiral springs on the rear frame and a single pull spring on the steering bar support the riders rocking motion and a comfortable 80 KM/s (50 m.p.h.) is claimed.
