The mounting element 26 may have webs 28, 29 having enlarged portions 31 receiving a clamp portion 32 of the limit switch to allow adjustment of each switch 18, 19 relative to the cylinder 12, or alternatively, locating grooves to mount the switches. The switches are magnetically activated, preferably by a magnet 21 carried by the piston 13, the switches controlling admission/exhaust valves via electric or hydraulic circuits. A flexible ferromagnetic switch blade co-operates with the magnet in a non-contact mode. The element 26 and the cylinder 12 are constructed of non magnetic material. |
