The ventilation pipe is for the ventilation of ships tanks. The head is fastened to the pipe via a vertical socket, and contains a reversing chamber with circular wall. The air outlet is automatically sealed by a floating sphere, arranged in a cage in front of it. The reversing chamber (3) is formed as a horizontal half-cylinder, the wall of which is projected downwards on both sides over the large circular horizontal plane (5). The chamber is sealed by a lower level plate (6). The plate contains the socket (1) near the cylindrical wall, and the outlet aperture (7), which is closed by the float (10) next to it. The chamber contains guide vanes (15) parallel to its wall.
