Connecting plate for construction bars - has dove tail slots for four perpendicular arms with channel cross section

A construction kit has quadratic bars which are provided with longitudinal dove tail slots on each side. To join the bars during assembly, a link plate (2) which has four cross arms (3, 4) is used. Each arm has a U-shaped cross section which produces a press fit in the dove tail slots of the bars. By bending these arms at right angles to the base plate (2), the bars can be connected in a straight line or perpendicular to each other in different planes. The thin baseplate section is of paper or foil. The arms are of sharp dovetail or rounded channel section.
