<p>A device to block or lock the set position of a system of centrifugal weights in vibration drives is used, partic. in vibration drives of vibratory polishing container systems. It has the centrifugal weight or weights constructed with an engagement aperture in its outer region which can allow insertion and engagement of a spring loaded latch or pawl. The latch or pawl has a latch support (17) which is formly seated on the drive shaft (5) and which extends into the outer region of the centrifugal weight path. The blocking or locking mechanism ensures that the weights are held in any desired position.</p> |
