<p>The water drainage gutter is mounted in the base area of a window with metal section units, and effects a high degree of heat insulation. The gutter consists of a heat-insulating shaped section unit of fibreglass reinforced plastic which can be inserted between the window sash frame and the window case. It may have a cross arm piece formed onto it, for lateral attachment to the window case structure. It may be horizontally U-shaped in cross-section on the inside, with the upper arm of the U-connectable to the sash frame. The plastic shaped-section unit may have a trough-shaped closure at both ends.</p> |
