Decorative wax candle - with heat conducting disc around wick for even descent of wax level and longer life

Wax candles of large dia. and with a decorative exterior have a disc of a material with a good heat conductivity which surrounds the wick and reaches up to the periphery. The disc has a central opening for the wick which has a slightly tapering rim pointing downwards. The inside of this rim is roughened and/or blackened to ensure a better heat transfer. This utilizes the wax available to the best advantage and lengthens the useful life of a candle considerably. The manual labour needed to trim large candles down in regular intervals is saved.
