1446129 Bearings W SCHAEFFLER & G SCHAEFFLER 3 June 1974 [8 June 1973] 24492/74 Heading F2A A flanged bearing housing 1 is provided with lateral bores 3 so that it can be fixed to a wall 9 and a central bore 4 in which is accommodated a rolling bearing or freewheel device, the outer race 5 of which projects beyond the face 8 of the housing adjacent the said wall. The projecting portion of the race 5 serves to locate the bearing or device in a bore 10 in the wall. The housing is of plastics material or die cast metal.
