<p>The hull (1) comprises an uneven number of basically cylindrical tubes, joined together and communicating, varying in length with the longest in the centre and the shortest on the outside and with a centres outside dia. ratio of about 4:3, producing a boatlike shape overall. A light alloy tube (9) secured to the hull near its ends (10a, 10b) is drilled (8a, 8b) for securing two of the mast stays (3); the third runs to a securing point (8c) near the bows so located that the three form a roughly equilateral triangle at the centre of which (7) is the reinforced base for the mast. There is a rubber/plastic centre board and a detachable rudder assembly (5) with a pivoted rudder.</p> |
