<p>Shower curtain is made of terry cloth of which the base fabric and pile consist of an air-permeable water-repellent synthetic fibre fabric, pref. comprising 65-75% polacrylic fibres and 25-35% polyamide fibres. Its air permeability prevents it from being drawn into the shower cubicle by suction from the shower, so that spray water cannot leave the cubicle to any great extent; therefore no fastening means are required on the lower or side edges of the cubicle. In tests, water sprayed onto the curtain dripped off completely, and no wetting of the surface of the curtain could be detected.</p> |
