Moulding machine with automatic ejection - of compacted boxless sand moulds onto two aligned stacks

Moulding machine for mfg. boxless and stackable foundry sand moulds, using at least one sand feeder operated by compressed gas, and presses for sand compaction using press plates carrying pattern plates; mould stacking units are mounted on both sides of the press with ejectors moving the moulds onto the stacks via moulding frames. The mould stacking units are fitted with centering devices for the sliding moulding frames, and a double-acting press is used, the upper press plate mating with a filling frame connected to the sand feeders using at least two sand inlet nozzles; the pusher moving the moulding frames can move both horizontally and vertically, and a bottom frame is employed around the lower press plate and can be moved vertically. Used for mass prodn. of sands moulds in horizontal stacks.
