<p>The quantity of free-flowing material is recorded by means of an electro-mechanical lock which can be actuated by a number of coded keys, and to which there is connected a decoder circuit. The latter controls a number of corner mechanisms, each time a key is inserted corresponding to a particular one of them. The lock can have two oblong frame sections, leaving free a central slot for a coded key, and carrying on both sides of this slot switch units at different levels, actuated by the coded symbols on the keys. The latter can be oblong flat plates, with uneven portions forming code symbols, working in conjunction with micro-switches.</p> |
