<p>The microwave antenna is for two different frequency bands with possibly a great frequency spacing between them. A primary radiator for each band is provided for a common passive deflecting reflector (U1) placed before a microwave window or port (5) in an equipment cabin housing the primary radiators (E1-E3) together with corresponding sender and receiver. The primary radiators are in a fixed position w.r.t. the common reflector and connected to it by an adjustable wave path. The focussing qualities of the deflecting reflectors (U1, U2) improve the efficiency of the radiator, the radiation being in the axis of elevation (Ae). The apparatus cabin (4) does not therefore need to move with the elevation movement of the antenna.</p> |
