<p>Pairs of adjacent wheel nuts (20) are secured by a tag (16) with profiled rings (12) at the ends. The rings have an inner toothed profile to fit over the wheel nut and prevent them from rotating. A similar tag, but with smooth profile rings (32) is placed across the studs on the other side of the nuts and is joined to the first tag by connecting pins (36). The connecting pins are secured by wedges etc. The system prevents the wheel nuts from loosening through wear, with the tags re-usable. The wheel nuts cannot be easily removed if security fasteners are fitted.</p> |
