The supply circuit, for an electric clock, has a supply line (NL) for transmission of time signals from a master clock and for supplying the electrical energy for operating the clock time display (AF). The supply line (NL) is connected to an HC voltage (U), with the coded time information transmitted by phase reversals, e.g. by a train of positive and negative phase reversals. The clock has a store (SP) for storing the transmitted time information, and the display (AF) is supplied with the contents of the store (8P).
