Cleaning hospital equipment in enclosed chamber - by detergent sprays, water rinsing, disinfectant sprays and compressed air drying

Hospital equipment such as bedsteads can be cleaned, disinfected and dried in a chamber with a tight enclosure. An atomised detergent is sprayed at high pressure, and this is followed by rinsing with water at high pressure. A pressurised disinfectant is then sprayed in the chamber and finally any adhering droplets are blown off by hot or cold compressed air. This requires no manual work for cleaning or disinfecting and is more reliable and consistent in quality. The chamber requires less capital cost and floor space than a tunnel system on the principle of motor car washing machines.
