Temp. stabilisation of machine tool spindle - with bearing oil retained at operating temp.by thermostats in bearings and oil reservoir

The machine tool spindle rotates in bearings in the machine housing. Lubricating oil, contained in a tank is pumped into the machine head, feeding each bearing and lubricating the gears. The excess drains back into the tank. An electric heating element and a thermostat are fitted into the tank. Other thermostat fit into one, or both, bearings. All thermostats are connected into a control box where the temperature are compared with one previously set and corresponding to that for the normal operating temperature at tht speed.
