<p>A packaging machine for goods, e.g. liquids pulp or granular material, has a conveyor chain in which the pouches (1) which are to be filed and sealed are moved by means of carriers (5) to the various processing stations which form a closed path of movement and each have two swivelling arms (10). In one zone in which the carrier (5) executes a change in direction, the levers (16), which control the swivelling of the arms (10) towards on another and hence maintain the upper end of the pouch in a taut closed position, interact with movable parts (27) that follow the movement of the carrier. The parts provide a flat surface (29) on which control rollers (17) on the free end of the levers are supported. The parts are held at a uniform angular distance from a chain wheel (9) over which the chain moves.</p> |
