<p>1461243 Agricultural implement having a reversible shift J WILLIBALD [trading as JOSEF WILLIBALD MASCHINENFABRIK] 17 April 1975 [18 April 1974] 15867/75 Heading A1B An agricultural implement comprises a housing 1, a rotatable shaft 3 which can be driven also for reversible motion, and a plurality of working tools having knives 15 for mulching and blades 17 for rotary cultivation, the tools being mounted by means of arms 16 to the shaft 3 and articulated at locations 13 whereby when the shaft 3 rotates in the direction M for mulching the knives 15 cooperate with impact bars 14 and pendulate at location 13, and when the shaft 3 rotates in the direction F the tools bear against abutments 21 on the shaft 3 to be fixed relative to the shaft 3 and its blades 17 dig into the soil for cultivation. The tools may be helically disposed on the shaft 3 so as to engage the soil one after the other. The implement is laterally swivellable by means of a parallelogram linkage 8. The shaft is driven in both directions via a V-belt drive 4, shaft 5 and bevel gearing 6 so that a lower rotary speed and reverse rotation for the shaft 3 can be obtained for rotary cultivation. In order to provide greater driving forces for rotary cultivation a chain, wheel or toothed belt drive 23 can be connected through wheel couplings 24, 25 and a shaft 26 with the gearing 6.</p> |
