Multidirectional car sun visor - has tinted main panel with opaque lateral and lower folding wings to vary angle of protection from sun

The sun visor has a tinted translucent main panel (1) and two opaque lateral folding wings (2, 3) which articulate about hinges (4, 9) on the main panel. The wings enlarge the angle of protection (6) from the sun. The main panel is fixed to the interior of the car by an arm (7) which universally hinges on a rigid bracket (8). The wings fold flat against the main panel which itself folds against the car interior roof. A lower flap (14), which hinges (15) on the bottom edge of the main panel, gives protection against a low sun.
