High performance burner for gaseous fuels - has radial outlet nozzles for preheated gas and preheated air supply

The high performance burner for combustion of gaseous fuels, especially for combustion of gas in heating units is used e.g. for melting of refractories in the glass making industry. The burner generates a short nonoxidising flame by a system with modified distributor. The outlet end of the outside tube (4) of the gas distributor (2) has a number of uniformly distributed radial pipes (10). These nozzles are connected to the distributor channel (2) between two coaxial tubes (3, 4). The radial pipes have openings (11) whose diameter increases withthe distance from the gas distributor channel. This inside tube (3) for natural gas for increasing flame luminosity has at its outlet end a calibrated nozzle (5) with outlet (6). The gas fed into the burner is preheated in the preheater(17) and preheated combustion air is supplied through a duct (27).
