<p>A strip of foil stretches along the bottom of the door leaf. The other edge is fixed to a batten held at the bottom of the leaf. This batten can be displaced, against spring action to the thickness of the door leaf. This is done by a lever protruding at the side of the lintel to abut onto the door-case and swivel, when the door is being closed. The batten may be held by two sheet metal strips fixed on the bottom of the door. The displacement of the batten causes the foil strip to bulge against the floor, in the final stages of movement.</p> |
