Tennis racquet with ball pickup attachment - uses burred foil strip attached to outside of racquet

The tennis racquet is fitted with a cover made from burred foil material outside the strung or handle surfaces. The burred foil (3) is attached to the outer edge of the racquet frame (2) and in addition may be attached to the free end of the racquet handle (20). The burred surface of the foil material is curved to correspond to the curvature of the tennis balls. The burred foil is made as a band and is attached to the tennis racquet by adhesion. As an alternative the foil may be attached to the racquet using a support fitted with spring clamps. The object of this invention is to produce a device to facilitate the picking up of balls by tennis players.
