<p>The airstream of a tanker discharge, for granular or powdered contents, converges towards the delivery pipe. The tank's truncated conical outlet is shrouded by a tapering cover, with a clearance gap. Compressed air emerging at the cover nozzles is directed downwards by the gap. The tank (1) outlet (1a) is enveloped by an overlapping (7a) cover (7), terminating at the delivery pipe (4). The cover has nozzle holes (10) and carries an annular air supply dispenser pipe (6a). The parallel gap (9) between cover and tank can be divergent if the distance piece (11) is dispensed with. A cover of different cone angle is then welded directly on to the tank.</p> |
