<p>The evaporation compartment (2) is situated on the banks of a natural water-supply, e.g. lake or sea coast. A pipe (2a) painted black on the outside, is connected to the water (1) by means of a valve (3) e.g. return valve. The pipe (2a) is enclosed by a double-walled bottom part and a top cover. Buoyancy chambers (8) extend in the lengthwise direction of the pipe. The sun's rays are intensified by a mirror surface on the bottom part and by a coating on the cover. The vapour produced is conducted through a black-coated pipe (11) to a condenser. Extra evaporation compartments each contain a black pipe in the bottom of which are valves letting out the condensed water. The soil underneath the pipe is kept damp for plant growth.</p> |
