Opening and closing system for split spine folder - using cam with spring support actuated by press button key accessible through spine opening

Opening and closing installation for the spine of a correspondence folder divided into two halves (1) having a folding link (2) extending along the centre and longitudinal direction of the folder spine. The assembly comprises a ledge (3) extending along the inside of one half of the spine on the folding link (2) and parallel to it, fitted with a pointed cam (4) and a spring unit (6) one end of which is attached to the inside of the other spine half. The opposite end (9) is curved at right angles in order to grip over the cam (4) with the spine closed an providing a sprung attachment to the cam. There is a press button key (10) attached at about the height of the folding link (2) to the spring unit (6) with an opening in the spine to provide access to it.
