1467584 Securing hubs on shafts RING- FEDER GmbH 21 March 1975 [15 July 1974] 11870/75 Heading F2U A clamping assembly, for clamping on a shaft 10, comprises an inner ring 2 with outer frustoconical surfaces, an outer ring 1 with inner frusto-conical surfaces and intermediate rings 6 engaging these surfaces and tightened against them by screws 7 to achieve a friction coupling. The ring 2 can be closed or split. The clamping assembly is shown clamping a neck 8 of a hub 9 on the shaft 10 and the outer ring 1 has grooves 3 for taking V-belts for power transmission. The ring 2 can be clamped directly on the shaft 10 and the ring 1 can have geat teeth or a flange to which bodies can be attached (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown). |
