The frame of the tennis racquet is made from a tubular metal profile, its extremities being brought together to form the handle. The profile of the metal tube is rectangular and has rounded ends, the shorter axis being parallel and coinciding with the playing surface of the racquet. In the same plane, the edges of the tube are bent out to form a flange (4), this being on the inner side of the frame and provided with bushed holes (6, 7) for the racquet strings. The space between the handle extremities is filled by a plate, this also having bushed holes for stringing.
|
